The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any accidents - obviously a garaged and cherished southern California driver only.

The car has an absolutely beautiful professional repaint in its original factory 'Flame Red' color with a 'White' soft top (Color Code VE) and is matched to a solid 'White' color vinyl interior with 'Red' carpeting and boasts a bench seat, automatic interior courtesy lighting, rayon loop carpeting, half-circle steering wheel horn ring, winged 'Thunderbird' front end emblem, stainless steel window surround moldings, dual horns, dual exhaust and a removable fiberglass hardtop!

The car's original 'D' Code 312 V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent. The transmission shifts smoothly though the gears and the power steering and power disc brakes make the car an absolute pleasure to drive. The car was completely stripped down and repainted including the engine compartment.  Four new 'American Classic' Whitewall radial 'Bias-ply' look tires have just been installed. All the chrome was removed and re-chromed and the car has a new 'White' factory soft top.

This car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be believed - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the car has four new white-wall tires! Please note that the car also boasts its original spare wheel and jack in the trunk along with original trunk spec carpet and lining!

This is a rare opportunity to own a beautifully restored and superbly striking original 'Flame Red' Dearborn, MI built (as is true of all Thunderbirds!) late in 1957 and delivered to the Los Angeles area were it was originally sold and spent its entire life. It is a great daily driving example of an original southern California 1957 Thunderbird in very fine original condition throughout with it's original highly desirable 312 V8 'D code' engine and loaded with factory options including Power steering, Power brakes, its original Port Hole hard top & soft top, heater and defroster and electric clock!

Few finer examples can exist anywhere and this is a perfect daily driver for the T-Bird enthusiast or simply a great daily driving and very striking turn-key ready example of the T-Bird's finest year for any classic American car collector!
