West Coast Classics are proud to present a great example of this original California 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Fastback Coupe with a matching #'s L76 327cid/365HP 'HH' code engine matched to a 4 speed manual transmission! The car is quite striking in its original 'Goldwood Yellow' factory color (code XX) paint with a standard 'Black' interior trim matched to its factory optional and original Muncie 4 speed manual transmission!

Matching #s 327/ 365 hp engine. 1 of 5,011 built. Casting number 3782870. Engine pad number 5113940 F0322HH. 4 speed transmission with the VIN # stamped on the side case.

Paint code HH, Goldwood Yellow paint. Base/ clear coat paint which is in excellent condition but with some minor imperfections and chip touch ups. No rust. Bonding strips in tacked. Chrome is excellent. Stainless trim is in great shape. Body emblems look like new. Very clean and detailed under carriage. Trim code STD, Black interior. Door panels, carpet and dash pads in excellent condition. Headliner is in great shape. Factory radio and shifter. Side pipes.

The car has no signs of any accidents with bonding strips intact and is the beneficiary of a still very decent repaint in it's original 'Goldwood Yellow' factory color with a beautiful 'Black' standard interior. The car must be driven and seen to be truly appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day high performance sports car a run for it's money! The 4 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the temperature always remains cool!

This is a rare opportunity to own a great daily driving and obviously unabused example of a nicely restored only as required (Paint, vinyl etc) of a very striking second generation Corvette, a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette 327/365HP Coupe, 1 of only 5,011 units built with this engine!

This is one very desirable and collectible and unabused example of one of the best styling efforts of the decade, a genuine grand touring car in every sense of the word, this shortest lived Corvette design (1963-67) is probably the most sought after apart from the 1953-1958 models and they are seemingly increasing in value and desirability each year and which needs some TLC but should prove a most worthy investment for any Corvette collector or classic American car enthusiast!
