In 1967 Buick full size models were totally restyled with the LeSabre, Wildcat and Electra being given a facelift that featured a new divided grille, more angular body panels, and full width taillamp styling at the rear. A new 430 CID V8 engine replaced the old 425 CID 'Nailhead' and it was an all modern V8 design that put out 360 horses in its original form. Interiors received upgrades to materials and styling with a more luxurious appearance. The Electra 225 Custom model added Custom interior trim and exterior identification.
The upgraded 1967 Buick Electra 225 Custom featured upgraded interior materials like more plush upholstery with unique stitching, fancier door panels with carpeted lower sections on door panels, and additional features like unique moldings and a more elaborate deluxe steering wheel, while the base model has plainer interiors and fewer standard features.
Features may include cornering lights, bumper guards, and a full-length armrest with the window switch on the door panel, though many features were optional.
The original 430 V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives extremely well - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the temperature always remains cool.
This is a rare opportunity to own a great daily driving and unabused example of a mostly all original, always garaged, rust and accident free 1967 Buick Electra 225 Custom 2 Door Hardtop in very fine condition throughout!
