Equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, twilight Sentinel headlights, roof-mounted warning lights and a full-size spare.
Features AM/FM radio, wood-grain trim, electric clock, power windows, power seats, remote mirror, rear window defrost. Rides on 15-inch steel wheels with correct Lincoln hubcaps. Original factory window sticker and owners manual included and copy of Marti Report included in the sale. Obviously always garage kept since new, reportedly with only some 86K original miles. The car is in mostly all original and therefore with obviously some light signs of wear from over the years but in overall good working condition and a truly well preserved unrestored survivor.
The original 460/365HP V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and all the options are working as they should including the air conditioning.
Few products from the Motor City have been as well-defined in the market as the Continental Mark III. Produced by Fords Lincoln-Mercury division from 1969 to 1971. By 1971 the good looking and popular Mark III was entering its last year of production and was Ford's challenge to Cadillac and squared directly at the Eldorado. This handsome luxury coupe is highly desired today by collectors and has become a 'Milestone car'
This is a rare opportunity to own a very fine surviving mostly all original southern California example of an obviously always garaged and well preserved 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III 2 Door Hardtop Coupe with believed to be only 86K original miles with no evidence or history of any accident repairs in this striking and very rare special color combination!
