West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely superb and collector quality example of this 1974 TR6 Roadster Convertible in its all original factory and still striking 'Yellow' color paint with an all original and virtually flawless Brown interior and Black soft top and with a full weather tonneau cover and it's original owner's purchase orders and original sales documentation and with reportedly and believed to be 9K original miles!

This is obviously one rare and highly desirable classic British sports car - a completely rust free example of the legendary British sports car - the TR6 roadster! The trunk, floor boards, rocker panels and all the typically rust prone areas are all completely solid and rust free - an obviously always garaged example that has survived intact!

The original 'Yellow' (color code 64) factory color paint is in simply stunning condition and the interior is also quite extraordinary with its original Brown (trim code 63) bucket seats and matching door panels, a lovely original steering wheel and original wood dashboard. The Black color soft top is as new and the car has its original tonneau cover and a full weather tonneau cover also, it's all original wheels and its original spare wheel its storage compartment in the trunk. The 2.5L 6 cylinder engine purrs quietly under the hood and the 4 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through the gears - an absolute pleasure to drive! The car would have to be considered pretty much flawless, apart from the most minor of tiny imperfections, one hell of a statement, but which we believe to be true!

The car was purchased new on 8/21/1974 at 'Competition Motors' of Chicago, IL with original factory options of AM/FM stereo radio, undercoating & rust proofing, 4 spd manual transmission, radial tires, heater/defroster & walnut gear knob. The car was purchased new with a factory hardtop but unfortunately that is no longer available.

The Triumph TR6 was introduced in 1969 and was a smoothly redesigned successor to the TR5/250. It was facelifted by Karmann of Osnabruck, the legendary German coachbuilders. The TR6 also featured an independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15-inch wheels and tires, pile carpet on floors and trunk/boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instrumentation. Braking was accomplished by disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear.

Without a doubt this will prove to be one rare piece of British motoring history - a beautiful and virtually flawless 1974 Triumph TR6 with all original sales documentation with original factory paint as confirmed by paint meter, a very special example for any Triumph enthusiast or for any serious collection or simply any classic British sports car lover to enjoy today!
