The 1977 Cadillac Eldorado is a stunning vehicle to behold, and was one of the five most expensive vehicles to buy in 1977, with the base model starting at $11,187. The car was designed to be considered luxurious and more on the elegant side, versus sleek and sexy. With Cadillac's storied history and attention to detail, the 77 Cadillac was truly a culmination of American engineering and refinement. As many people are aware of, Elvis Presley was a huge fan of the Cadillac brand. So much so, he would frequently buy them and give them away to friends. The last Cadillac purchase Elvis made was a blue 1977 Cadillac Eldorado, which he did give away.

Unlike the Fleetwood Brougham and De Ville, which both boasted the opulent d'Elegance trim luxury package, Cadillac did not offer a similar option for the Eldorado until the 1976 model year with the introduction of the top-of-the-line Biarritz (a name last used for the 1964 Eldorado convertible) package. The car featured unique exterior trim and the rear half of the cabriolet roof was covered with a heavily padded landau vinyl top accented with large "opera" lights. Body colored wheel covers were also featured. The 1977/1978 interior featured 'pillowed' style 'tufted' leather seating, while the 1976 interior did not. As with other Cadillac models, special order contrasting upholstery piping and exterior colors were available.

The 425 4 BBL V8 engine was one of the biggest and smoothest engine built by Cadillac and provided both sparkling acceleration, yet also quiet and effortless highway cruising, almost like having two engines! This particular example was recently acquired from a collection of low mileage Cadillacs here in southern California with a reportedly original 5K miles. The car oozes pride of ownership with the the floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas completely original, solid and rust-free and the car has absolutely no signs of any accidents and seemingly all original paint - obviously an always cherished 'Garage Queen' since new.

The 425 CID 4 barrel V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be believed - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that still drives as it must have the day it left the showroom floor in 1977! The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the car is an absolute pleasure to drive! The car has always obviously always been well maintained whilst being stored and all the options work as they should including all the power options, the power windows, power seats and the factory air conditioning! The car boasts its original spare wheel and jack in the truck!

This is an extraordinarily rare opportunity to own a great daily driving example of a completely original 1977 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 2 Dr Hardtop Coupe showing pride of ownership throughout in great driving and looking condition with almost every possible factory available option installed and with believed to be only 5K original miles!
