West Coast Classics are proud to present this rare and very desirable and collectible 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta, the last model year of the 2nd generation, and boasting upgrades including the optional and top-of-the-line 305 c.i. 5.0L V8 engine matched to an automatic transmission, Bucket seats, T-Tops and presented in its original 'Tuxedo Black' factory color paint over its original 'Red Deluxe Cloth' interior!
The Berlinetta trim package offered a luxurious interior with a focus on a more comfortable and luxurious interior, which was available as an optional upgrade.
Characterized by styling cues designed to distinguish it as a more luxurious model, such as specific paint and striping options for this final model year before the third generation was introduced in 1982.
The Berlinetta's focus on a premium driving experience meant several comfort-oriented items were included as standard equipment:

Buyers could further customize their Berlinetta with a variety of comfort and convenience options shared across the Camaro line up such as T-Tops for a near open-air driving experience while maintaining structural rigidity, these removable T-tops, like on this particular example, were a popular choice
The model also sported unique 14x7-inch finned aluminum wheel with gold accenting and a 'Berlinetta' center cap. Its own lower-body pinstriping, gold 'Berlinetta' badging, and headlamp pockets were painted in an accent color. The taillights got a gold and black horizontal divider bar. The interior came standard with custom cloth interior, a rear storage well cover, and additional carpeting on rear wheelhouses. It also came standard with additional body insulation and full instrumentation.
