The 1993 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe (ETC) was the performance flagship of the lineup. Over the base model, it featured the revolutionary 295 HP Northstar V8, the sophisticated Road Sensing suspension, speed sensitive steering, leather bucket seats and a center console with a floor shifter.
Upgrading to the Touring Coupe added several premium performance and luxury enhancements that set it apart from the regular Eldorado;
Northstar V8 Engine: Upgraded from the base 4.9L V8 (200 hp) to the high-output 4.6L Northstar V8, which generated 295 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque.
Road-Sensing Suspension: An advanced, computer-controlled active suspension that automatically adjusted damping to road conditions and driving dynamics.
Performance Features: Included speed-sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering for better handling, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with traction control.
Interior Upgrades: Featured premium leather upholstery standard, distinct bucket seats, and a sporty center console-mounted floor shifter (rather than a column shifter).
